24 Hours of Conyers

The real racing begins tomorrow. I’m excited. All of the months/days/hours of training, set backs, bike prep are behind me now. The turn out for the race looks to be very low, but I expect the racing to be as hard as ever. Of course I want to win, especially on this course, but I have some other goals I’m aiming for such as nailing my nutrition, sticking to my race tactics (sorry no details until Monday), being smooth and efficient, & relaxing. The results should be good if I hit those.

That last one has always been tough for me on race day, but I have been learning some techniques that I will put to use tomorrow and they will hopefully serve me well.

I’m not sure if Granny Gear will have their real time scoring set up where you can follow the race online, but if they do it’s on this site http://grannygear.com/index.shtml .

Wish me luck and check back in on Monday,

Eddie O
