Learning to Wobble-Naught

A couple weeks ago Namrita and I went out to Boise to check out the Wobble-Naught fit system. We had two reasons to make such a long trip to get bike fits…one was because I have heard some amazing testimony directly from racers such as Ernesto Marenchin and Nat Ross, so that peaked my interest. The second is that we have an opportunity to partner with Crank Performance (owned by the Gym of Buckhead) to provide services such as VO2 max & resting metabolic rate testing and of course bike fits. We sought out the best system to learn and all of the buzz is around Wobble Naught. I think we were both a little sceptical at first…if it’s too good to be true…, but were blown away by the experience. Namrita already has a couple of great write ups on her site and after I race this weekend with my newly acquired knowledge, I’ll post my thoughts on all this. I will say that what impressed me the most about the whole experience and this system is that is goes way beyond just setting up the bike. The knowledge we gained and will be able to pass on about the mechanics of the pedal stroke and the tools we will have access to will change racing in the Southeast.

Wobble-Naught Precision Fit System

Crank Performance Indoor Cycling Studio is open now and Namrita & I will begin offering the Wobble-Naught system and the physio testing in a few weeks. We will be operating as 55nine Performance.

Stay tuned…

[...] Please buy my bike I need the money….no really. We need to buy inventory for the new bike fitting/performance center biz, so this exquisite rig has to leave the stable. It’s posted up on ebay, but there are no bids yet…. The Ghisallo with this set up retails for $5600, so the $4000 reserve is a bargain! [...]
