So busy…

Sorry about the lack of posts this week. Namrita and I did ride the Firewater 50 last weekend where Namrita was the first female to complete the brutal route on a single speed. We also plan to get some long miles in up around Bull Mountain this coming weekend. I had a birthday on Sunday (31 this year….holy cow I’m old) and had a few beers with some great friends in downtown ATL. The bike fitting and coaching over at 55nine Performance has kept me very busy during the week. Today, Namrita and I are meeting with some of her colleagues at the Sports Nutrition Department of GSU for a tour of their Olympic performance testing lab and to check out some new products being developed from the research done there at GSU.. It’s not as well known as the one in Colorado Springs, but it’s supposed to be just as good. Then I am off to Dr Julien’s office to finally have my searing-hot-pain-causing-during-every-long-race-for the-last-3-years ingrown toe nails worked on. Dr Julien says he’ll remove the sides of the nail and then use some sort of chemical to keep them from growing back. I’ve got pictures of the last time he did the temporary relief slanting cuts if you are interested….really gross. I’m also finalizing the plans for my trip to Interbike (the major US bicycle industry trade show). I’ll head from Sunday night to Friday, so posts could be intermittent next week too. I’ll be working with Wingnut Gear to gain some exposure for the new Solar Tent, working the both with PaceLine Products who distribute all kinds of great cycling products such as Chamois Butt’r and of course working on some sponsors for myself. I’m currently testing a handful of stuff from them including skin care products & cycling shorts. I’ve also got the Scottoiler and Gel-bot on the product test list.

I do have a couple of write ups in the works and maybe I can finish them in the car or on the plane the this weekend. I do have to give a hardy “Hello” to the O’Dea Clan (more on them later) who found the link here in the latest newsletter.

Hey, get me some sponsors while you’re at it. Something from the bike industry or the adult entertainment world.
    Deep pockets preferred.
