I’m heading to the Dirt, Sweat & Gears race this weekend. Nam will be supporting Scott O’Dell, the Southeast Kona rep, and myself. There is a ton of hype surrounding this event….big money, big name riders, a hellacious course, and lots of media coverage…all of this for a first time event. These folks certainly know how to attract attention and I’m guessing there is a least one bike industry insider in the back ground on this one. Good for them. The southeast needs more events like this. Knobscorcher and Bump & Grind have lost their edge when it comes to attracting big money which is followed by big talent.
It’s not just the D,S&G race either. I just received word that both Nat Ross and Rebecca Rusch will be at the Cowbell to. That is a lot of talent for one race. I’m calling out to all of the locals to step up and bring your A game. Let’s show these paycheck collecting westerns how we throw down in the south!
