Good Times at R-Ranch
R Ranch is a resort just outside the city of Dahlonega, GA. R Ranch boasts an impressive 1000+ acres of rolling hills adjacent the Chattahoochee National Forest and the roads that make up the Six Gap Century. We first met Wendy Wood, the Sales and Marketing Manager, at the Fools Gold event. R Ranch was a sponsor and she did everything she could to help make the event go over well. She really went above and beyond the call of duty and we really appreciated the help. Any way, Wendy invited us up to ride on their 20 some miles of horse trails on the property. It was great to ride right out of cabin:

The trails were a lot of fun, the cabin was perfect….two bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace, a full kitchen…, and the weather cooperated. We chatted with Wendy about doing some mtb events up there and even doing some trail work. It’s a great place to stay in Dahlonega whether you are looking to hit the mountains of Six Gap or some mtb’ing or both.
