Miss’ing Out

We are here at the 24 hours of Clear Springs. We rode the course last night and I liked it….Namrita didn’t get a very good feel for it in the dark, so she tried again today and agreed….good course. There is about 900 feet of climbing over a 9.6 mile course. The terrain seems very similar to Croom in FL, but with much bigger rolling hills. There is a couple steep pitches, but mostly these rollers that you can cruise up if you keep the momentum from the previous one. Sorry no pics today. I’m still a stick little Berto, but I’m drying out some. My head is still congested and bending over to work on a bike makes it want to pop, but I should be good for my support job tomorrow. The Vassago‘s are race ready after refitting and tuning them Wednesday….not much to break on a single speed.

This race will be one of the smallest, if not the smallest either of us have ever been too. It a real grassroots affair. Don’t take that too mean a bad thing though. Everyone has been very nice and I think we’ll have a good time. Namrita will surely impress!
