And it’s over, just like that…

I’ll ride the trainer today and then begin lifting weights tomorrow…the real off season is over and the training season begins. No more sitting on the couch eating bon-bons and watching lame movies all day. Weight lifting is new to me. I lifted one winter, but never did much with my legs. The goal then was just to work the neglected parts, but this will be a more comprehensive project. This year we’ve (Namrita & I) taken some advice from Mr & Mrs. Pic, Harvey and Joe Friel and put together a lifting plan. It should take about 10 weeks total to get huge…or just strong.

I’m actually excited about the trainer ride today because I got new one:
Kurt Kinetic Rock & Roller Trainer I posted about this rig a few weeks ago upon returning from Interbike and it’s finally here, built and ready to ride. I used it this weekend for some fittings, but only rode it myself for a minute just to see if it was operational. Everyone seemed to like the feel of the the over sized flywheel and the side to side motion. I’ll shoot a video this week to demonstrate. Many thanks to the fine folks at Kurt Kinetic for the help and info on this acquisition.

Now for some news bits:

SSWC08 is set and Namrita and I are going.

Danielle Musto wins Iceman Single Speed…again!

Cody Yancy is the Fastest Man in the World!

Namrita gets recognized.

The Croom 50 miler is almost full.
