I certainly would not want to bias anyone’s opinion, but there are a few bicycle friendly options included on page 1, section 4. These have been included because a few vocal members of the cycling community have been active in the Beltline Study Group meetings. The next meeting is: January 24, 2008

Help define the future of Atlanta’s new “Westside” Reservoir Park!

Dear City of Atlanta Park Visitor:

Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. and the City of Atlanta Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs seek your input for a future “jewel” in the necklace of parks along the BeltLine.

Background: The “Westside” Reservoir Park is located in NW Atlanta north of the Bankhead MARTA Station around the old Bellwood Quarry site. Currently 150 acres and with a potential for up to 250 acres upon project completion, the “Westside” Reservoir Park may become Atlanta’s largest citywide park. Built around a new water reservoir on the site of an old granite quarry, the park will allow the public to enjoy a wide range of activities in a carefully designed greenspace.

The City of Atlanta and the Atlanta BeltLine Inc. depend upon you to make the Park design and program a success. Please complete the survey so that we can best meet the City’s needs.
