Closing the Year Out
We are still here in FL. We enjoyed a few days at parents for Christmas. A were able to spend some time with my brother’s family, some extended family and quite a few friends. On Christmas Eve we spent the day at the beach and watched dolphins play as close as 10 feet from us for hours. Christmas day we opened presents, rode out to Manasota Key and then stuffed ourselves on huge holiday meal. Later we were introduced to Guitar Hero and spent the night jamming away. Unfortunately the day was overshadowed by my uncle’s health. He’s been in the hospital since Sept with various infections and mostly unresponsive. On Wednesday his respirator was removed and late on Thursday he passed. He was only in his fifties. Rest in peace Uncle Pat.
Fortunately we’ll be in FL for the memorial services sometime next week.
I do have some good news from cyclingnews and Ergon to report, but I’ll save it for later.

Eddie, this is Dave, I’m using Grog’s password because for some reason the system hasn’t sent mine yet. Anyway, I met you very briefly at the 12 of Dauset. I live here in Fl. (port charlotte). We have put together a large group ride at Boyette tomorrow (Sunday). We are starting around 9:00am. We would love to have you both join us. I think you may know some of us already. We ride in the Florida state series and have done some of the GSC stuff as well. Feel free to call me if you are interested (941) 286-5622, or email (ecchorazak@embarqmail.com) Hope to hear from you. – Dave
