Happy New Year!
We spent the night playing Guitar Hero and drinking micro brews with my brother & sister in-law and their friends. Good times. Namrita planned to get up at 3 AM to register for the SSW08, but some how slept through it. Luckily our team manager at Vassago Cycles was on top of it for us….thanks Misty.
Last week we had our first diary published at Cyclingnews.com. We are officially rock stars now. Don’t worry I’ll still acknowledge the little people

We finished the year out with a 3 hour ride from Tampa to St Pete and back. I had forgotten how tough riding into a head wind can be. I felt a little sluggish after a 6 hour ride with Namrita, Harvey, Pea Jay and Chris J on Sat, but after 20 minutes or so I was spinning along just fine. We took some time to look around St Pete before catching the tailwind back to Tampa in half the time.
Today we’ll take a short spin before heading south to Englewood for my Uncle Patrick’s memorial service and wake.
