Packing Up

We are heading to Temecula tomorrow for the Granny Gear 24 hours of Vail Lake. Physically I think I’m good. The effort on Saturday was hard and long enough to give me that last push toward peaking I’ll need to set me up the next 4 weeks of racing. All of the equipment seems ready to go, but I’m sure we’ll forget something. Thankfully we have a few days before the race to sort it all out. Mentally I in a good place. I have a lot on my plate as far as work goes, but most of it I can do from afar. We’ll have a lot of down time out in CA (I hope), so I can write some promo emails for the BURN and FG, send out some prize requests and get caught up on some accounting. All of that will help my mind be at ease. I’ll be sure to spend an hour or two each day just plain relaxing too. Especially on Friday. I need to have clear head going into a 24. There is a lot of think about, but the real key is to not over think it. Sounds easy…..
