Heading to FL

Namrita is racing in the 8 Hours of Labor down there. We are staying with some friends in Gainesville and considering they are all students and this weekend is the first UF football game, it’s going to be an interesting weekend. I may have to wear my Huskers jersey all weekend to remind that town what real football is all about.

Herbie Husker

I actually haven’t watched many games in the last few years. The Huskers were on such a downward spiral that it was all too painful. They are always on at my brothers and tradition states that we do a shot for every touch down. Back in the 90s this proved to be difficult with scores being run up into the 70s, but over the last few years had to settle for something more achievable for the boys in red….like a first down.

There is hope in the corn nation though. Bo Pelini is back in charge and shows a lot of promise. We’ll just have to see what he can to the with said recruiting over the last few years. I wonder if I can find the Husker game on in Gainesville?

….and just to keep this racing related here is a pic from the last 8 Hours of Labor I attended:
Chainwheel Drive Team Kills it.
The Chainwheel Drive team killed it in 03. Susie, Joe, myself and Lance took 4 of the top 10 solo spots.
