Hot Breath Harry Takes Over
Wow, what a day! I’m sitting here writing this report over a nice bottle of white wine.

Tired of the same old chase the ball routine I decided to take the family out to the woods for a run. It was tough to pry Mommy & Eddie away from thier computers and Porter out of his favorite nap spot under the stairs, but promises of sweet singletrack works every time. So we loaded up the truck and headed out….

I’m a very good driver…

The owners were very good today so I stopped to get them a treat…

This car has no relevance to my story, but it’s a sweet hoop-tee:

After waiting forever for Nam & Eddie to get ready we finally got out on the trail and it was sweet!

Waiting on Porter now….all this waiting….come on already let’s run!

Yippeeeeee….I love running. Hurry Port-o-pot, keep up boy.

Come on Mom, hurry up…gees. Pick up the pace Port-o-potamus!

I even let Porter lead….once:

Mommy is very good on the switchbacks. Porter just cuts the trail…cheater.

That was it for the trail action. I let Eddie drive home so I could nap with my bro, Porty.

Now that we are back home, I can unwind with a nice bottle of sauvignon blanc and check my email.

…and if you don’t like my story well:

Although I doubt your dog really wrote this (I can see it as a possibility) it does look like they had a good time out there. I miss taking my number one dog on the trail, but she is getting too old and her stomach is sensitive.
Have fun on the honeymoon.

Dicky, little do you know of the linguistic prowess of Hot Breath Harry. Fontana, who got Harry to see the light of trail running, told me all about it after our last visit.
